This is a brand new genuine Ford OEM gasoline port fuel injector carrying part number LC3Z-9F593-A, fitting 20-25 F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 Super Duty trucks and 21-25 E-350 and E-450 Super Duty cutaway vans equipped with the 7.3L Godzilla gas V8 or 6.8L Godzilla gas V8. The injector sprays fuel into the intake port and is one of eight on the Godzilla engine. The injector incorporates the high-precision pintle valve and atomizing nozzle calibrated for the Godzilla fuel pressure and pulse-width strategy. Common failure modes include partial spray pattern degradation from deposit buildup on the nozzle, fully clogged injectors after years of running poor-quality fuel, and electrical coil resistance drift that throws the injector outside the calibrated flow window. Symptoms include cylinder-specific misfire codes, rough idle, reduced fuel economy, and visible spark plug fouling on the affected cylinder. Always replace injectors as a complete complete group when possible to maintain balanced fuel trim across cylinders. Replace the upper intake gaskets and any one-time fasteners when removing the upper intake to access the injectors. Sold individually. Verify engine option by VIN before ordering.
