  This Genuine Ford Police Interceptor Deck Lid Hatch Emblem is the rear nameplate for Police Interceptor Utility models built on the Explorer platform, and also crosses to legacy Crown Victoria Police Interceptor and Police sedan applications where Ford uses the same emblem. The emblem displays the Police Interceptor script and mounts to the liftgate or deck lid via factory adhesive backing locating into the original pre-drilled or pre-mapped position. Supersedes the older XW7Z-5442528-AC. Using the correct OEM emblem preserves both the visual finish and the script style that distinguishes Police Interceptor packages from civilian Explorer trims, which matters for fleet identification and for resale of police-equipped vehicles. The piece is supplied as a single emblem and is sided where the script must read in one direction only.
