This genuine Ford overflow hose is the upper engine coolant recovery hose for the 2020 through 2025 Ford Transit equipped with the 3.5-liter turbocharged engine. It routes coolant between the supply tank and the radiator in the closed cooling circuit, allowing the system to purge air and manage coolant expansion and return as engine temperature changes. A hardened, split, or leaking hose causes visible coolant seepage, a persistently low coolant level, sweet-smelling steam, and eventual overheating if left unaddressed. This -D revision supersedes the earlier LK4Z-8075-C and the Motorcraft KM-6795 hose and is keyed to the 3.5-liter turbo cooling package. Installing the correct molded Ford hose ensures proper routing and secure clamp seating. Refill and bleed the cooling system after replacement and confirm the engine and cooling option match your Transit.
