• Description:

  Authentic Ford Motor Company replacement center high-mounted stop lamp (CHMSL) for the 20-25 Ford Transit and E-Transit cargo van equipped with the rear-mounted camera, single rear wheels, and the digital rear-view mirror. The lamp is the current Ford service level part. Verify the original equipment carefully before ordering since Transit configurations with dual rear wheels, without the integrated camera, or with the analog (non-digital) rear-view mirror use different CHMSL part numbers and the configurations are not interchangeable. Each piece is sold individually. The lamp mounts to the upper rear of the cargo van body using the original Ford stud and clip pattern and connects to the rear lighting harness through the factory connector. Replacing a cracked, fogged, dimmed, or non-functional CHMSL restores DOT-compliant supplemental brake lighting and seals the lamp housing against moisture intrusion that can damage the rear-camera electronics integrated into the lamp assembly. After installation, the lamp should be tested with the brake pedal pressed and the rear camera function should be verified.
