This is a brand new genuine Ford OEM serpentine drive belt carrying part number LC3Z-8620-B, fitting 20-26 F-Super Duty trucks in the AC compressor circuit. The belt routes around the crankshaft pulley, automatic tensioner, AC compressor pulley, and an idler pulley to drive the air conditioning compressor independently of the main accessory drive. This dedicated AC belt arrangement is common on modern heavy-duty engines because it isolates AC drag from the main accessories, simplifies tensioner sizing, and allows the AC system to be quickly serviced without disturbing the alternator or power steering loop. The belt is multi-rib EPDM construction with factory-specified rib count, length, and profile matched to the OEM pulley diameters. Replacement is recommended at the Ford-specified service interval or any time the belt shows cracking, glazing, edge fraying, or chunking. When replacing the AC belt, also inspect the tensioner spring force and idler pulley bearing condition; running a worn tensioner against a new belt will quickly destroy the new belt.
