The genuine Ford air-conditioning compressor clutch and pulley assembly is the electromagnetic clutch, pulley, and hub that engage and disengage the A/C compressor's drive. It is a factory OEM part for 2020-2026 Ford Super Duty trucks (F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550) equipped with the 6.8L or 7.3L gas V8 engines, and it is supplied for service of the compressor's clutch and pulley group. When energized, the clutch couples the pulley to the compressor shaft so the accessory belt can drive the compressor; a failed clutch can slip, fail to engage, make bearing noise or rattle, or leave the A/C system blowing warm air. This assembly includes the pulley, field-coil interface, and clutch plate and hub used with the compressor. Because it is a genuine Ford component it matches the factory belt-groove profile, air gap, and electrical characteristics, ensuring proper engagement and belt alignment. Note that it is intended for use with the compressor assembly on these applications.
