  This is the genuine Ford high-pressure fuel pump-to-fuel rail tube assembly for 21-23 F-150 with the 5.0L Coyote V8. The tube carries pressurized fuel from the mechanical high-pressure fuel pump up to the fuel rail and is part of the direct injection fuel supply circuit. The tube is listed by Ford as a required replacement part on the published Technical Service Bulletin for the 22-23 F-150 5.0L engine oil leak repair, since the tube must be removed to access the underlying engine components during the documented service. Failure modes for the tube itself include a fuel leak at either end of the tube, hard starting after extended sit periods, a check engine light with fuel pressure codes, or visible weeping at the tube flare connections. The tube is single-use and must be replaced any time it is loosened from the fuel pump or the fuel rail.
