  This is a genuine Ford front seat headrest assembly for the 21-23 F-150, 22-23 F-150 Lightning, and 23 F-250 and F-350 Super Duty crew cab and super cab configurations. The headrest supersedes earlier KU5Z78611A08A in the same family and is the current service replacement for the front outboard and center seat back positions on builds equipped with or without armrests, including the 40 percent and 60 percent side seat back configurations used in 60/40 split bench applications. Owners reach for this part when a vinyl or leather skin tears at the post bushing, when the locking mechanism on the headrest post fails and the rest no longer holds height adjustment, or when a vehicle is being recovered to original cosmetic condition after a seat fire, child seat compression, or animal damage.
