• Description:

  Left-hand bumper reinforcement (bumper cover reinforcement, lower position) for 21-23 Ford F-150 trucks with bumper trim. This is the LH companion to ML3Z-17C947-D, providing the structural backing for the left side of the front bumper trim molding. The bracket supports the molding attachment and assists with impact load transfer through the bumper structure. The bracket is supplied with the OEM hole pattern and stamped reinforcement geometry matching factory production. Replacement is typically warranted after collision damage from front impact that distorted the bracket, corrosion at the attachment points, removal damage from prior bumper service, or restoration during a body refresh. Installation requires removing the front bumper face bar to access the bracket fasteners, then unbolting the damaged bracket from the bumper structure. The new bracket installs with the same fastener pattern and the torque specifications from the Ford workshop manual. After installation, the bumper face bar reinstalls and bumper trim alignment should be verified.
