• Description:

  This is the genuine Ford left-side power window regulator motor for 21-23 F-150, F-150 Lightning, and F-250 through F-550 Super Duty trucks. The motor drives the cable-style window regulator mechanism inside the door, raising and lowering the door glass on driver command from the master switch or door-mounted switch. The motor is included with the complete power window regulator assembly, but Ford supplies it separately for cases where the regulator mechanism itself is sound and only the motor has failed. Failure symptoms include the window failing to move in one or both directions, slow or hesitant glass movement, audible motor whir without glass motion, or a single direction of travel only. Replacement requires removal of the door inner trim panel and the vapor barrier, careful detachment of the window glass from the regulator carrier, and removal of the regulator assembly to access the motor housing. Reinstall the motor with the regulator off the vehicle, on a clean workbench, to avoid binding the motor pinion against the cable spool. Reassemble the door in reverse order and run the window through several full cycles before reinstalling the trim panel to confirm smooth operation and complete travel in both directions.
