The kit combines a sealant cartridge with a 12-volt compressor in a single roadside repair package, intended for puncture repair on the Mach-E which ships without a spare tire to preserve cargo space and curb weight. This suffix supersedes the earlier FR3Z-19G525-B. The kit is platform-specific in its sealant chemistry and connector geometry; installing a generic compressor with non-Ford sealant can foul the tire pressure monitor sensors and require sensor replacement. The Ford sealant is rated for use with the OE TPMS sensors and washes out completely during tire dismount for permanent repair. non-OEM roadside kits in this fitment commonly use a sealant that does not wash out cleanly and the residue prevents proper tire seating on remount.
