This genuine Ford PCV valve hose, cataloged as a crankcase ventilation vent tube, routes blow-by vapors from the crankcase through the positive crankcase ventilation system back into the intake so they can be re-burned rather than vented or allowed to build pressure inside the engine. Proper PCV flow keeps crankcase pressure in check, protects seals and gaskets, and helps control emissions and oil consumption. This hose fits the 2021-2024 Ford Bronco equipped with the 2.7L EcoBoost V6 gasoline engine and includes the molded connections that mate to the valve cover and the intake side. A cracked, collapsed, or disconnected PCV hose commonly causes a rough or lopey idle, a lean or vacuum-leak diagnostic trouble code, a whistling or hissing noise, oil misting, elevated oil use, or pushed-out gaskets and seals from unrelieved crankcase pressure. The molded OEM hose is engine-specific to the 2.7L application and must not be substituted with the 2.3L version, which carries a different part number and routing. Installing the correct genuine hose restores sealed PCV flow, a steady idle, and proper emissions performance.
