• Description:

  This Genuine Ford Engine Oil Dipstick Tube Assembly fits the 7.3L Godzilla gas V8 in the 21-24 E-350 Super Duty. The tube guides the dipstick down into the oil pan and provides a sealed pathway for oil checking and for the crankcase pressure relief vent on the cap side. Replacement is common when the tube cracks or develops a leak at one of the joints, when the o-ring at the upper seal hardens and weeps, or when the tube is bent during prior engine service. The Godzilla 7.3L in the E-Series cutaway packaging differs from the F-Series application in tube routing because of the engine bay geometry, so the E-350 SD tube is the correct service item for that platform. Install the tube with a new o-ring at the upper joint, route the tube along its original path so it clears nearby exhaust components, and torque the mounting fastener to the value called out in the Ford procedure. Verify there is no oil weeping at the upper o-ring after a brief warm-up before returning the vehicle to service.
