This Genuine Ford Upper Radiator Hose fits the 7.3L Godzilla gas V8 in the 21-24 E-350 Super Duty. The upper hose carries hot coolant from the engine outlet to the top of the radiator, where the radiator's tubes and fins reject heat to the airflow drawn through the cooling pack. Replacement is common when the hose develops a bulge or a soft spot from age, when a leak appears at one of the clamped ends, or as preventive replacement during a major cooling-system service in the E-Series cutaway commercial duty cycle. The hose is molded to the geometry required by the Godzilla 7.3L's outlet location and the E-350 SD's radiator inlet position, so an unrelated hose from another platform will not route correctly. Install with new spring or worm-drive clamps as specified, ensure the hose is fully seated on both nipples to the witness marks, and refill the cooling system following the Ford bleed procedure to avoid trapped air at the engine outlet. Inspect the lower hose and the surge tank lines at the same service since these wear together.
