This Genuine Ford ML3Z-6758-E is the PCV valve hose, also catalog-named crankcase tube, for 21-24 F-150 trucks equipped with the 3.5L EcoBoost or 3.5L PowerBoost hybrid V6 engine. The hose routes crankcase blowby vapors from the cam cover PCV port to the intake system, allowing the positive crankcase ventilation system to draw vapors back into combustion under closed throttle and through the turbocharger inlet path under boost conditions. The molded plastic construction includes the factory connector geometry at both ends to seat correctly into the PCV valve port and the intake side connection without strain on the rubber sealing grommets. Owners replace this hose when an intake system lean-DTC traces to a cracked PCV hose allowing unmetered air into the intake, when a hissing sound from the engine bay indicates a split or cracked tube, when an oil weep around the cam cover PCV port traces back to a leaking hose seal, or when a previous repair has damaged the tube body during R&R of adjacent components. Installation requires careful seating of both end connectors with a light coat of factory-spec lubricant on the sealing grommets to avoid tearing the rubber during insertion.
