• Description:

  Door mirror lower cover for 21-24 Ford F-150 trucks equipped with trailer tow mirrors and integrated side view camera. This is the lower mirror housing cover, the visible cover panel below the mirror glass that integrates with the mirror body and houses the camera lens. The cover is supplied as part of the mirror assembly service inventory and is intended for replacement when the lower cover is damaged but the main mirror housing remains intact. Replacement scenarios include impact damage to the lower cover from contact with garage frames or brush, scratching from car wash exposure, fading of the finish, or refresh during a body cosmetic restoration. The OEM cover matches the visual treatment of the surrounding mirror housing and the trailer tow mirror style. Installation requires removing the mirror glass to access the cover retention clips behind the glass, then releasing the cover from the mirror housing and the integrated camera mounting points. The new cover installs with the same clip pattern and the camera lens cutout aligns with the existing camera module. After installation, the camera image should be checked for proper field of view and any debris around the lens removed. Note that this part is included with the complete mirror assembly when a full mirror is ordered; this individual cover is for piece-replacement service scenarios.
