  This Genuine Ford ML3Z-6020-A is the engine front cover gasket, also catalog-named timing gear cover gasket, fitting 21-24 F-150 trucks across compatible engine variants. The molded composite gasket seals the front timing cover to the cylinder block face, isolating the timing chain compartment and the front main bearing oil galleries from the outside environment and preventing engine oil from weeping or leaking from the cover-to-block joint. The gasket has integrated metal-core reinforcement at the bolt-hole compression zones so it maintains seal pressure over thousands of thermal cycles without taking a permanent set.
