  This is the genuine Ford tension pulley kit for 21-24 F-150, Expedition, and Lincoln Navigator with the 3.5L EcoBoost. The kit replaces the pulley that maintains belt tension on the primary accessory drive, ensuring proper grip on the alternator, water pump, and AC compressor pulleys. A failing tension pulley typically produces a rough or growling bearing noise that changes pitch with engine RPM, lateral play at the pulley face, visible wobble during operation, or seal weep around the bearing race. Left in service, a worn tension pulley causes the belt to slip under load, accelerate edge fray, and eventually depart the accessory drive entirely, stalling power steering, water pump, and alternator function simultaneously. Replace the unit as a complete assembly; the bearing is not serviceable on its own. Inspect the idler pulleys, water pump pulley, and accessory pulleys at the same service since access is open. Confirm correct routing against the underhood placard before tensioning, and verify the new pulley spins smoothly with no lateral play before reinstalling the belt.
