• Description:

  This genuine Ford outer tie rod end is the left-hand (driver-side) steering link for the 2021-2024 Mustang Mach-E. The outer tie rod end threads onto the inner tie rod and connects the steering rack to the front steering knuckle, transferring rack travel into wheel angle while its ball stud lets the knuckle pivot through steering and suspension movement. A worn tie rod end is a common cause of loose or vague on-center steering, uneven or feathered inner-edge tire wear, a clunk or knock over bumps, and a steering wheel that no longer returns cleanly; it also prevents holding a stable front alignment. This is the outer joint; the companion right-hand unit is LJ9Z-3A130-A. The stud nut at the knuckle is a single-use torque-to-yield fastener and must be replaced, never reused, any time the joint is separated.
