Part number MB3Z-2B712-B is the electric motor that engages and disengages the rear caliper integrated parking brake on vehicles with the electric parking brake system. The motor includes the gear reduction, position sensor, and integrated wiring connector pigtail interfacing with the electronic parking brake module. Replacement is needed after motor failure, internal gear damage, sensor failure, or water intrusion into the motor housing.
