• Description:

  This genuine Ford CV joint repair kit provides the constant-velocity joint boot and service hardware for the driver-side (left-hand) front halfshaft on the 2021-2025 Ford Bronco and 2024-2025 Ford Ranger. The boot is a pleated seal that retains grease around the CV joint and keeps out water, dirt, and grit while the joint articulates through steering and suspension travel; the kit is the OEM way to reseal the joint without replacing the entire axle shaft. A split, cracked, or thrown boot lets grease sling out and contaminants in, which quickly wears the joint and leads to a clicking or popping noise on turns, grease spray on the inside of the wheel and underbody, and eventually a failed joint. Buyers looking for this kit have usually spotted torn boot rubber or grease slung around the wheel well and want to repair the joint before the halfshaft is ruined. Installing the correct OEM boot kit restores the grease seal and protects the CV joint, extending its service life. Clean the joint thoroughly, pack it with the specified grease, and seat the boot and its retaining clamps correctly so the seal is airtight; a poorly clamped boot will fail again quickly.
