• Description:

  This is a genuine Ford OEM axle shaft oil seal for the 2021 through 2025 Ford Bronco with 2.3L and 2.7L EcoBoost engines and the 2024 through 2025 Ford Ranger. Part number MB3Z-4B416-A is the seal used on locking and open differential configurations including Bronco with axle disconnect and Ranger 4WD open style with axle disconnect. The seal prevents gear oil leakage at the axle shaft as it passes through the differential housing or axle tube, maintaining proper lubrication while excluding water, dust, and contaminants. Construction includes a precision metal case with bonded elastomer lip, garter spring, and dust lip engineered to the rotational speeds, temperature range, and chemical exposure of the Bronco and Ranger driveline. Replacement is required when the original seal is leaking, after axle service that disturbed the seal, or after axle shaft replacement. Installation requires removing the axle shaft, prying out the old seal without bore damage, cleaning the bore, installing the new seal squarely, and refilling differential oil per Ford service specification.
