• Description:

  This is the genuine Ford spring shackle assembly for the 21-25 full-size Bronco rear suspension. The shackle links the suspension member to the frame, allowing the spring to articulate and change effective length as the suspension cycles while locating the axle fore and aft. Owners replace the shackle after the bushings crack and wear out, when corrosion weakens the links, or when off-road impact bends the shackle, producing clunks, a sloppy ride, or rear-axle alignment shift. Worn shackle bushings allow excess movement that can cause a knocking noise over bumps and uneven tire wear. This shackle is matched to the Bronco rear suspension geometry and accepts the factory hardware. Built to original specifications, it bolts to the existing mounting points and restores correct suspension articulation and axle location. Confirm your suspension configuration before ordering. As an OEM component, the bushing durometer and link dimensions match the factory part so ride quality and geometry are preserved.
