Genuine Ford Air Intake Inlet Duct LX6Z-9A624-C is the OEM-spec front air intake inlet pipe channeling cool ambient air from the front grille opening into the air cleaner box on 21-25 Ford Bronco Sport with the 1.5L EcoBoost three-cylinder turbocharged engine. The duct also fits 22-24 Bronco Sport equipped with the 2.0L EcoBoost four-cylinder turbocharged engine. Molded from heat-resistant thermoplastic with internal resonator chambers and integrated MAF sensor bracketry, the duct is tuned to deliver smooth pressure recovery, reduced intake noise, and stable MAF readings under all driving conditions. Common reasons for replacement include cracking at the resonator necks from underhood heat, cracking at the flange where the air cleaner sealing surface clamps, vacuum leaks producing lean fuel trim codes such as P0171, and damage from rodent intrusion. Installation involves removing the engine cover and air cleaner cover then unclipping the duct from the grille support and air box snouts following Ford Workshop Manual procedures.
