The reflector is a sealed, federally mandated retroreflective unit that returns light from following vehicle headlamps to make the rear of the Bronco Sport visible during nighttime parking and low-light driving conditions when the running lamps are not energized. The reflector body is constructed of impact-resistant polycarbonate with internal cube-corner optics and a UV-stabilized lens to prevent fading after years of weather exposure.
