• Description:

  This is a Genuine Ford OEM direct ignition coil for 21-25 F-150 fitted to the 3.5L EcoBoost twin-turbocharged V6 in its various PCM calibration variants. The coil is the pencil-style on-plug unit that delivers the spark high-voltage discharge directly to the spark plug, optimized for the elevated cylinder pressures and high-boost combustion conditions of the EcoBoost platform. Each coil ships individually as the factory service piece with the correct boot, terminal, and connector for the EcoBoost firing geometry. Suitable as a direct replacement when a specific cylinder misfire is set, the truck develops idle roughness or under-boost stumble, fuel economy degrades, or the catalyst monitor reports a cylinder-specific lean event and diagnostics rule out fuel injector, spark plug, or compression causes. Replacing all six coils as a set is good preventive practice on F-150 EcoBoost trucks over 80,000 miles. Installation requires removing the engine cover and intake decoration, releasing the coil connector, unbolting the coil, and pulling it free. Torque to factory spec on reinstall.
