• Description:

  This Genuine Ford ML3Z-6051-G is the cylinder head gasket variant fitted to 21-25 F-150 3.5L EcoBoost twin-turbocharged engines. The multi-layer steel gasket seals the cylinder head to the block deck, containing combustion chamber pressure across the operating range and isolating the coolant and oil passages running through the deck from each other and from the combustion chambers themselves. The MLS construction with precision-embossed sealing beads delivers the controlled crush-down required by the 3.5L EB deck after the head bolts are torqued through the Ford-specified torque-to-yield sequence. The gasket is supplied for production engines and matches the original-equipment compression ratio and combustion sealing performance. Technicians install this gasket during a head gasket replacement triggered by white exhaust smoke from coolant intrusion, milky oil from coolant in the pan, combustion gases pressurizing the cooling system, low compression on adjacent cylinders, or routine head service performed alongside timing chain or turbocharger work. New torque-to-yield head bolts are required since the original bolts stretch on initial torque and cannot be reused.
