• Description:

  This Genuine Ford ML3Z-6758-D is the PCV crankcase ventilation tube for 21-25 F-150 trucks equipped with the 3.5L EcoBoost twin-turbocharged engine. The tube routes crankcase blowby vapors from the cam cover PCV port to the intake system, allowing the positive crankcase ventilation system to draw vapors back into combustion under closed-throttle conditions and through the turbocharger inlet under boost. The molded plastic tube includes the factory connector geometry at both ends so it seats correctly into the PCV valve and the intake manifold or air box port without strain on the rubber elbow grommets. Owners replace this tube when an oil-fouling intake-system DTC traces to a cracked PCV tube allowing unmetered air into the intake, when a hissing sound from the engine bay indicates a split or cracked tube, when an oil seep around the cam cover PCV port traces back to a leaking tube seal, or when a previous repair has damaged the tube body during R&R of adjacent components. Installation requires careful seating of both end connectors with a light coat of factory-spec O-ring lubricant on each elbow seal to avoid tearing the rubber during insertion.
