• Description:

  This is a Genuine Ford OEM battery interrupt circuit breaker for 21-25 F-150 equipped with the 3.5L PowerBoost full hybrid powertrain, located in the engine compartment power distribution. The breaker is the high-current overload protector that interrupts the 12V auxiliary battery to chassis distribution path in the event of a major short circuit or collision, protecting the wiring harness and the hybrid high-voltage isolation barrier from cascading damage. Each unit ships individually as the factory service piece with the integrated stud terminals, mounting tabs, and signal pigtail for the BCM monitoring circuit. Suitable as a direct replacement when the original breaker has tripped permanently after a major fault and will not reset, internal contacts have welded shut from prior overload, the BCM reports a breaker-open fault, or visible damage from a wiring fire is present. Installation requires standard battery service procedure plus the high-voltage service disconnect to ensure safe access to the engine compartment power distribution box. Restricted to PowerBoost trucks; not compatible with conventional V6 or V8 F-150 wiring.
