  This Genuine Ford ML3Z-6675-L is the engine oil pan assembly for 21-25 F-150 trucks equipped with the 5.0L Coyote V8 engine, applicable to trucks built at the Dearborn assembly plant from the 07/19/2021 build window forward. The pan forms the lower closure of the crankcase, holding the engine oil reserve and providing the sump from which the oil pump draws oil for distribution to the crankshaft mains, camshafts, hydraulic lifters, and accessory drive elements. The Dearborn-plant variant differs from the alternate-plant pan in mounting flange geometry and oil pickup tube layout, so the parts cannot be cross-substituted across assembly plants. Owners replace this pan when a ground impact or driveway curb strike has dented or cracked the pan and caused an oil leak, when the drain plug threads have stripped from repeated oil services, when the pan-to-block sealing flange has corroded enough to weep at the gasket joint, or when a previous repair has left an over-torqued pan that no longer seals cleanly. Installation requires the original pan to be drained and removed, the block sealing flange cleaned, the new pan installed with the matching gasket, and pan bolts torqued to Ford spec.
