• Description:

  This Genuine Ford ML3Z-6710-A is the engine oil pan gasket for 21-25 F-150 applications. The molded gasket seals the oil pan to the cylinder block deck and front cover, containing the engine oil reserve in the pan and preventing oil weeping or dripping at the pan-to-block sealing flange across the operating temperature range. The integrated metal-core reinforcement at the bolt-hole compression zones maintains the seal under repeated thermal cycling without taking a permanent compression set that would otherwise allow seep formation around individual bolt heads. Technicians install this gasket whenever the oil pan is removed, including during a pan replacement after a ground impact, during a crankshaft service that requires the pan to come off, during a rear main seal replacement on engines where the seal accesses through the pan opening, or during a major timing chain repair that requires the pan to be detached.
