• Description:

  This is a genuine Ford engine water pump for 21-25 F-150 (3.5L EcoBoost and 2.7L EcoBoost applications), 22-25 Expedition and Lincoln Navigator 3.5L EB, and 22-25 Bronco (early production) with the 2.7L EcoBoost. The pump circulates coolant through the block and heads, maintaining proper operating temperature and protecting the aluminum cylinder head from thermal damage. A failing pump usually announces itself with a coolant weep at the weep hole, a bearing whine that changes pitch with RPM, a slow coolant loss with no visible external leak, or overheating under load. Ford supplies this unit with the inner and outer pump gaskets, but you will still need fresh thermostat housing seals if the housing is disturbed, plus a full coolant flush and refill using the correct Motorcraft Orange (Gold) specification. The 3.5L PowerBoost hybrid uses a separate coolant management system, so verify your VIN against the engine code before ordering. Replace the drive belt and tensioner at the same time if either shows glazing, cracking, or play, since you already have the front of the engine apart. Always follow the published Ford service procedure for bolt torque sequence and final value on the pump-to-block fasteners, and bleed the cooling system through the recommended high points to avoid an air pocket at the heater core or rear of the block.
