  This Genuine Ford ML3Z-3A130-B is the left-hand outer tie rod end for 21-25 F-150 trucks without Performance package, Expedition, and Navigator equipped with the Power Electric power-assisted steering system on the U553 light-duty front suspension. The tie rod end threads onto the inner tie rod and connects the steering rack output to the steering knuckle, transferring rotational input through the ball stud to the spindle so the wheel turns with the steering wheel. Drivers replace this part when a loose or knocking sensation develops in the steering at low speed, when toe alignment drifts and the truck pulls or wanders at highway speed, when tire wear shows feathering or inner-edge scrub from changing toe, or when a chassis inspection finds the ball-stud boot torn and the joint loose to a pry-bar test.
