• Description:

  This is the genuine Ford right-side turbocharger wastegate actuator for 21-25 F-150, 22-25 Expedition, and 22-25 Lincoln Navigator with the 3.5L EcoBoost. The actuator controls the position of the wastegate door inside the turbocharger turbine housing, regulating turbocharger boost pressure by allowing exhaust to bypass the turbine wheel when boost reaches the commanded target. The actuator is supplied as a service part and is also included with the complete turbocharger replacement. Failure modes include overboost or underboost trouble codes (commonly P0234 or P0299), erratic or lagging boost response, audible chuff or whoosh at boost transitions, or a check engine light with wastegate position-related codes. Replacement requires removal of the turbocharger heat shielding for access to the actuator linkage and mounting bolts, and careful disconnection of the actuator vacuum or electric control signal during service. Follow the published Ford service procedure for actuator alignment and the documented relearn routine. After installation, clear any stored DTCs and verify proper boost behavior under throttle through a road test before returning the engine to service.
