  This genuine Ford service kit supplies the sealing rings that isolate the fuel injectors in the 2021-2025 F-150. Ford catalogs it as KIT - O RING and also lists it as Injector O-Ring. Each injector is sealed at two points, the upper ring that seals the injector body into the fuel rail cup and the lower combustion seal that isolates the injector tip in the cylinder head bore, and this kit covers the sealing rings for that service. It applies across the F-150 engine range including the 2.7L and 3.5L EcoBoost, the 3.3L, the 3.5L hybrid, the 5.0L and the 5.2L. Drivers who need it are usually chasing a strong raw fuel smell at the front of the truck, a wet or stained injector seat, a rough idle or lean misfire on one cylinder, a hard hot start, or a hissing combustion leak that ticks in time with engine speed as pressure escapes past a hardened lower seal. The lower combustion seal is a single use item and must never be reused, reshaped or refitted after the injector has been pulled, because the original seal takes a permanent set against the head bore and will leak immediately if reinstalled. Always replace the seals whenever an injector is removed for any reason, lubricate the upper ring lightly with clean engine oil before assembly, and size the lower seal properly on the injector tip so it enters the bore without shaving. Torque the injector hold downs to specification.
