  This genuine Ford front axle shaft assembly transmits drive torque to the left front wheel of the 21-25 F-150, allowing the wheel to steer and travel over suspension movement while delivering power on four-wheel-drive models. Cataloged by Ford as an axle assembly, the half shaft carries constant-velocity joints at each end that must run smoothly through their full range of motion.
