• Description:

  Left-hand front fender mounting bracket (fender brace) for 21-25 Ford F-150 and F-150 Lightning trucks, the LH companion to ML3Z-16A142-B. This metal bracket secures the lower front portion of the driver side front fender to the body structure, providing structural rigidity and proper alignment between the fender, the front bumper assembly, and the wheel well opening. The bracket carries the OEM hole pattern and the stamped reinforcement geometry needed to interface with the body and the fender sheet metal without modification. Replacement is typically warranted after collision damage from a front impact that distorted the bracket geometry, corrosion that compromised the attachment points, removal damage from prior bumper or fender service, or restoration during a body refresh. Installation requires removing the front bumper cover, the inner fender liner, and any associated splash shields to expose the bracket fasteners, then unbolting the existing bracket from the fender flange and the body structure. The new bracket installs with the same fastener pattern and torque specifications from the Ford workshop manual. Fender alignment to the door, hood, and headlamp should be verified after bracket installation and bumper reinstallation. The right-side ML3Z-16A142-B is typically replaced concurrently after centered front impact to maintain symmetric alignment of the front clip.
