  This is the genuine Ford left-side rear stone deflector shield for 21-25 F-150, fitting trucks with the 5.5, 6.5, or 8-foot box on the body side just forward of the rear wheel opening. This service part supersedes the earlier ML3Z-99292A23-AA reference. The deflector protects the lower body panel from gravel chips, mud, and road spray thrown back from the rear tires, prolonging paint life and shielding the rocker structure from corrosion. A damaged or missing deflector typically presents as visible stone chipping along the lower body, accelerated paint fade behind the rear wheel, or corrosion bubbling at the rocker-to-body joint.
