• Description:

  Wiper transmission assembly (arm and pivot shaft mechanism) with 4-bolt mounting for 21-25 Ford F-150, F-150 Lightning, and F-Series Super Duty trucks built up to 4/10/23. This is the mechanical linkage assembly that converts the rotary output of the wiper motor into the sweep motion of the wiper arms across the windshield. The transmission includes the cross link arms, the pivot housings, the splined output shafts that drive the wiper arms, and the bushings or bearings that support the rotating parts. The motor is not included with this transmission and is sold separately as ML3Z-17508-E. Reasons for replacement include failure to sweep one or both wipers while the motor runs (indicating worn or broken linkage joints), audible clunking or chattering from the cowl area during wiper operation, sloppy or uneven wiper sweep, or visible looseness at the pivot points. Installation requires removing the wiper arms, the cowl trim panel, and the cabin air filter housing if present to access the transmission mounting bolts. The transmission unbolts from the cowl with 4 bolts, then the new unit installs with the same fastener pattern. Connection to the wiper motor uses the existing crank arm, and the wiper arms attach to the new splined shafts in the OEM rest position per the workshop manual.
