  This genuine Ford panel extension is a front truck-bed panel bracket on the right side of the 21-25 F-150, supporting and locating the pickup box side panel at the front corner of the bed. As a structural box component, it ties the bed panel to the supporting structure so the box stays square and rattle-free. A bracket that is bent, cracked or corroded after a load shift or rust can allow the bed panel to flex, rattle, or sit misaligned, affecting both appearance and structure.
