• Description:

  Right-hand (passenger side) hood hinge assembly for 21-25 Ford F-150 trucks. This is the metal hinge that connects the passenger side of the hood to the fender apron, allowing the hood to pivot open for engine access and close for driving. The hinge is supplied as a complete OEM assembly with the proper mounting hole pattern and the pivot point geometry that matches factory hood alignment. Reasons for replacement include impact damage that bent the hinge from a fender bender or accident, corrosion that weakened the hinge structure, sagging hood alignment caused by worn hinge pivot bores, or a damaged hinge stop that no longer holds the hood open properly. Installation requires opening the hood, supporting it with a prop or assistant, removing the bolts that secure the hinge to the hood at the upper position and to the apron at the lower position, then mounting the new hinge with the same bolt pattern. Hood alignment to the cowl, fenders, and grille should be verified after installation and adjusted using the slotted mounting holes to achieve proper gap and flush surfaces. Torque specifications should follow the Ford workshop manual. This hinge fits the right side only and is sold individually. The hood prop rod and any gas struts are not included with this part.
