• Description:

  This Genuine Ford center pipe mount bracket fits 21-25 F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks equipped with the 7.3L Godzilla gas V8. The bracket supports the center section of the exhaust system at the body crossmember through an isolator hanger, transmitting exhaust load into the chassis without transmitting noise or vibration into the cab. A failed bracket allows the center pipe to sag, contact the driveshaft tunnel, and produce a metallic rattling or buzzing noise that varies with engine load and rpm. non-OEM brackets often miss the correct bend pattern, isolator stud spacing, or coating, leading to premature corrosion failure and pipe misalignment. This OEM bracket is stamped to the factory geometry and finished with the correct corrosion protection. Support the exhaust during the install with a transmission jack or exhaust stand to avoid stretching the front hanger isolators, install the bracket and torque the body fasteners to the published specification, transfer the exhaust hanger isolator to the new bracket if not included, and verify clearance to the driveshaft, fuel and brake lines, and heat shields before returning the truck to service.
