  This is a brand new genuine Ford OEM fuel filler cap with integrated tether carrying part number LC3Z-9030-A, fitting 21-26 E-350 and E-450 Super Duty cutaway and stripped chassis vans equipped with the 7.3L Godzilla gas V8. The cap seals the fuel filler neck and incorporates the pressure-vacuum relief valve and the integrated tether that prevents the cap from being lost during fueling. A properly sealing fuel cap is critical to EVAP system operation; a worn, cracked, or improperly seated cap is one of the most common causes of an EVAP-related check engine light and a P0457 code. The cap is a one-time-use style item once the sealing O-ring shows visible wear, hardening, or cracking. Always replace at the first sign of EVAP system codes or visible deterioration. Hand-tighten until the audible ratchet clicks engage; do not over-torque with tools. The cap is matched to the E-Series 7.3L filler neck profile; verify chassis is E-Series and not F-Super Duty before ordering, since pickup and chassis cab applications carry different cap variants matched to their fuel tank wheelbase and tank position configurations.
