The strut is a complete pre-loaded assembly including the strut tube, internal valving, coil spring, upper mount, and upper bearing. As an OEM Ford strut the damping curves, spring rate, and overall length are calibrated to the 22 ST chassis configuration. This is a narrow-application service part covering a specific mid-cycle variant and is not interchangeable with other Explorer ST years or with non-ST Explorer trims.
