• Description:

  This is a genuine Ford right-hand outer tie rod end for the 2022-2025 F-150 Lightning, the connecting link between the steering-gear inner tie rod and the passenger-side steering knuckle. As the steering rack moves, this outer tie rod end transfers that motion to the wheel to turn the truck, while its ball stud allows suspension travel without binding. It is a critical steering and safety component, and on the heavy Lightning platform it must handle substantial cornering and road loads. Drivers who need this part often notice loose or vague steering, a clunk or knock over bumps, uneven or feathered tire wear, or a failed alignment or inspection due to play in the joint. A worn tie rod end can allow excessive toe change and, in severe cases, loss of steering control, so replacement should not be delayed.
