• Description:

  This is a Genuine Ford OEM headlamp control module variant for Bronco, F-250 through F-600 Super Duty, and Ranger applications with HID or LED headlamp configurations requiring an external ballast or driver module. The unit steps up battery voltage to the high arc voltage for HID lamps or provides regulated drive current and PWM control for LED matrix headlamps depending on the headlamp option installed on the truck. Each module ships individually with a core charge applicable on return through your dealer or accepted return channel. Suitable as a direct replacement when the headlamp fails to strike or shows continuous flicker, module fault codes are stored in the BCM, internal ballast failure has been confirmed through diagnostic, or moisture intrusion has compromised the original. Installation requires removing the splash shield to access the ballast position beneath the headlamp, releasing the connectors, and seating the new unit. Programming through Ford IDS or FDRS may be required for BCM authentication.
