  This is a genuine Ford left-hand front CV axle assembly, or halfshaft, for 2022-2026 four-wheel-drive F-150 pickups equipped with a two-speed transfer case, without the performance version and without limited slip. The axle assembly transmits power from the front differential to the driver-side front wheel through constant-velocity joints that let the wheel steer and travel over bumps while delivering smooth, uninterrupted torque. Each end uses a sealed CV joint packed with grease and protected by a boot, and the shaft splines into the differential and the wheel hub. Owners typically need this part when they hear a rhythmic clicking or popping during turns, feel a vibration under acceleration, or discover a torn CV boot that has slung grease and let contaminants destroy the joint.
