  This is the genuine Ford exhaust gas recirculation valve P2GZ-9D475-C for 2.3L Escape and Mustang applications built from early 2024 forward; it supersedes the earlier P2GZ-9D475-A and includes the valve gasket. The EGR valve meters a controlled amount of exhaust gas back into the intake to lower combustion temperatures and reduce emissions, opening and closing under control of the powertrain system.
