This genuine Ford brake booster is the Hydroboost (hydraulic-assist) unit for 2023 to 2025 F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks, supplied serviced with its reservoir. Instead of vacuum, the Hydroboost uses power-steering hydraulic pressure to multiply pedal force, which suits the high braking demands of a heavy-duty truck. Owners replace it when the brake pedal becomes hard or requires excessive effort, when the booster leaks power-steering fluid, or when assist is inconsistent and points to internal failure. As the factory unit it matches the pushrod geometry, hydraulic ports and mounting exactly, so it integrates with the master cylinder and power-steering circuit. The part contains hazardous material and ships with handling requirements. Confirm the Hydroboost application before ordering.
