  This genuine Ford reinforcement, cataloged as the exterior door handle base, is the factory structural mounting bracket for the passenger-side front door handle on 2023 through 2025 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks equipped with the 6.7L Power Stroke diesel, 6.8L, and 7.3L gas engines. It is the reinforced backing plate that fastens inside the door sheet metal and carries the outside handle, anchoring the handle mechanism and its return spring so the handle pivots correctly and transfers pull force to the latch release.
